By this letter, we would like to inform you that in the course of AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG and its affiliates (“the Company/AsstrA/We”) business activities we collect, store and process personal data about our customers, suppliers and other third parties as well as employees, according to applicable law, maintaining confidence in our business. For the above reasons AsstrA is a controller of your personal data.

We ensure the correct, lawful, and fair handling of your personal data and respect your legal rights. The main purpose of collecting these data is its usage in provision of transportation and logistics services to our Clients. Also these data are used for:

fulfilling of legal obligations based on agreements or other arrangements with you or the entity/entities you represent;
managing and coordinating our relationship with you or the entity/entities you represent;
replying to your questions or requests;
requiring your feedback on our offers, and other information or communication including on the legal services we provide;
any other legitimate business purposes.

Regardless of your purpose, we recommend that you do not disclose sensitive personal data such as racial or ethnic origin, religion, trade union membership, sexual orientation, health, genetic or biometric data etc. to us.

AsstrA may receive personal data about you from other data controllers for the purpose of AsstrA providing or assisting with services or any requests between you as the end beneficiary of a particular service and our company. Upon your request, we can at all times provide you with the identity of these parties.

AsstrA stores the data collected about you for a period required by applicable legislation.

AsstrA could use the mobile application named «AsstrA Track&Trace Driver» (T&T) to collect data of the location of cargo, if the client would like to track the cargo on map.

Mobile Application «AsstrA Track&Trace Driver (T&T) collects the data of user’s location and transfers all this data to the AsstrA Supplier’s Portal web application where they are used to display the location of the cargo transported by the T&T user on the map. Location data is only collected when the user has tied the cargo load in the T&T application. Location data is collected even if the user has closed the T&T application, but there is a cargo load tied by the user to the application.

AsstrA collects only the information that is necessary to broadcast the location of the cargo for the user in web application.

Your data is accessible to all AsstrA branches, to their management, employees and contractual Partners, in particular if they need them for fulfilling legal obligations. We pay your attention that AsstrA operates in 22 COUNTRIES that means we can transfer your personal data in all countries of our business operations. Please be assured, that in our affiliates in these 22 COUNTRIES, all personal data are processed in accordance with applicable law of these countries and GDPR regulation.

AsstrA does not share information with any third parties except for our Clients and suppliers if they need these data for relevant business purpose. All data are transferred based on agreements between a controller and a processor of the data.

In some circumstances it may, however, be necessary for AsstrA to transfer or share data with particular third parties. Such circumstances may include data transfers necessity for AsstrA in order to comply with its legal obligations, to protect the rights, property and safety of AsstrA or others or in case of a sale of/liquidation of any part of AsstrA business or assets.

Based on the applicable legislation or request of public authorities, your data may be accessible to public authorities.

Keeping your personal data confidential is executed in accordance with the laws governing our profession in the countries our offices are located, our internal rules and policies, and contractual arrangements with you or with the entity/entities you represent. We do not trade the data we have about you, and we do not make it commercially available to any other third party.

We have implemented organizational, administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data from being disclosed to third parties.
