  For any type of cargo, there is at least one type of modern aircraft capable of taking it on board. The air transportation of dangerous goods, however, can cause damage to aircraft or accompanying cargoes and requires special treatment. To ensure the safety of cargo, special regulatory documents regarding the crew and aircraft have been developed. These documents classify cargo and regulate the terms of its transportation, including cargo marking, packaging, immobilizing, and securing. Perishables, some chemical materials, and oversized goods are allowed for transportation in compliance with air cargo shipping regulations. Certain substances are not allowed to be shipped by air. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) prohibits taking on board some types of corrosive, toxic and flammable substances. • ✅ REGULATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION FOR AIR CARGO SERVICES

  Airfreight is subject to complex legal regulation. The whole scope of regulatory legal documents can be divided into several categories. The first category includes state regulations such as codes, laws, and certification and licensing rules. The second category includes federal level aviation rules with the third comprising local civil regulations.
  The Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation, the Warsaw Convention for the unification of certain international air carriage rules, and some ICAO regulations carry legal force. All these legal sources define complex and detailed rules on the performance of international air cargo carriage.
